Position Overview
The Role:
The Process Operator attends to and operates the process machines in the production area as assigned to them by the Shift Manager during a 12-hour rotating day shift/night shift roster. Specific areas include IS Machine, Inspection Machines and Verifying.
Key Responsibilities:
Hot End:
Ensure machine is mopped to the job requirements as set by forming department Ensure the weight is checked and maintained (every 15 minutes) as set by forming department Assist on job changes Troubleshoot on machines and correct all non-conformances Monitor the PIS system Call upon help from Electricians/Fitters as needed Report line issues to the Line Leaders as required Ensure mould gear is changed as required and recorded Attend and clear jam ups of glass Cold End:
