Responsibilities
• Responsible for handling the entire procurement process, including carrying out RFI (Request for Information) and RFQ (Request for Quotation), conducting negotiations, and creating purchase orders. Managing material follow-ups, spot buying, and rush orders, as well as overseeing PO (Purchase Order) workflows. Additionally, addressing GST mismatches and following up on open purchase orders.
• Responsible for negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms, managing SAP contracts or blanket purchase agreements, and maintaining long-term supplier relationships. Analyzing spend data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Oversee and manage requests for vendor master data changes, including creating new entries, updating existing information, and enhancing data accuracy.
• Actively contribute to process improvement efforts and participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
