The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has multiple openings for a Probationary Speech Language Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist. The successful candidates will need to:


+ Experience with speech/language instruction in an elementary and/or preschool/Universal Pre-Kindergarten setting;

+ Experience with speech/language instruction in a special education setting;

+ Experience and willingness to co-instruct/co-teach young learners with general education or special education teachers in an elementary setting;

+ Strong knowledge base of speech and language developmental milestones;

+ Specialty in phonemic awareness skills and signs of apraxia preferred;

+ Training and qualification to instruct in IEP goals;

+ Experience and willingness to work with different learning styles and learning needs;

+ Must be able to support a skills-based program of reading and writing instruction;
