PRN Licensed Practical Nurse Pediatric

The PRN Licensed Practical Nurse Pediatric performs job duties on an as needed basis and provides patient care to children under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses, focusing on basic needs and assisting with more complex procedures. The PRN LPN Pediatric utilizes observational skills and reports pertinent patient symptoms and/or changes in conditions to the provider. Common duties include vital sign monitoring, medication administration, wound care, assisting with daily living activities, and educating patients and families. The PRN LPN Pediatric assists with emergency medical situations and documents medications, treatments, and patient education.
