Role Overview

Seeking a patient, experienced tutor to provide 1:1 in-home support for a 7-year-old non-verbal boy with autism. Focus on communication, foundational academics, and daily living skills using evidence-based, child-led approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Communication Support

Implement and reinforce AAC (e.g., PECS, speech-generating device, or basic sign language) to build functional communication.

• Academic Instruction

Adapt literacy and numeracy activities to the child’s developmental level (pre‑K to early elementary), using visual supports and hands‑on materials.
