About The Role
This an exciting opportunity to join Runnymede Borough Council as we continue our positive work to raise standards and tackle poor conditions in the private rented sector. Runnymede Borough Council has around 450 HMO's and operates a mandatory HMO licensing scheme. As the Private Sector Housing Manager, you will:
Provide leadership and operational management of the Private Sector Housing team, ensuring the effective delivery of enforcement, HMO licensing, and advisory functions.Direct on improving housing conditions across the private rented sector, using the correct enforcement approach is taken in line with legislation and Council policies.Manage and develop staff, overseeing performance, casework quality, and professional development to ensure a high‑performing service.Oversee enforcement of housing standards and legislation, including inspections, complaint investigations, issuing statutory notice...
