**Job Description**

**This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Austin Technical Center three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business if more than 3 days].**

**The Role**

The Privacy by Design Engineering Manager leads a dedicated privacy engineering function responsible for embedding privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance directly into the design and delivery of enterprise data, analytics, AI platforms, and vehicle systems. This role is accountable for people leadership, technical direction, and operational execution, ensuring privacy-by-design is applied consistently, early, and at scale across both digital and vehicle domains.

The manager partners closely with Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, Product, and Vehicle Engineering teams to translate regulatory, policy, and risk requirements into reusable technical solutions. This role estab...
