Role Overview

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting and challenging role for Principal Structural Engineer in our growing team of 150+ Civil & Structural Engineers and Designers. The department covers a range of projects from concept studies to detailed design across a variety of industries including roads, water, transportation, energy, nuclear and defence. This is a full‑time hybrid role based in the Manchester office, with 2–3 days a week on site and the remaining days home‑based, with site and client office attendance as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil and structural advice, inspections, analysis, calculations, reports, and specifications.
• Take responsibility for leading small projects and technical sub‑tasks.
• Communicate designs effectively to BIM teams, other disciplines, construction personnel and stakeholders.
• Attend site visits, design reviews and client meetings as required.
