We’re building a next generation Digital Out of Home platform for Walmart owned retail properties that manages campaigns end to end—from targeting and real time content delivery to measurement. The platform supports over 4,000 stores and uses low latency decisioning to control what runs on in store screens in real time. Backend engineers work on Kafka based data ingestion pipelines, build scalable, containerized API services deployed on Kubernetes, and design persistence layers using SQL and NoSQL databases to power attribution and measurement from reach to sales lift.”

A principal engineer on this project operates well beyond individual services and features, with responsibility for technical direction, system evolution, and engineering excellence across the platform.
