The Principal Protective Security Advisor provides subject matter expertise on security matters related to the Waiouru Defence Area which encompasses the Waiouru Military Camp, Waiouru Military Training Area and NZDF establishments located outside the Waiouru Military Camp perimeter, such as the National Army Museum and the NZ Army National Marae.
This is a dynamic, varied role which analyses and provides solutions on a wide range of security circumstances, including physical, infrastructure, personnel and cyber security.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
* Engage widely with a range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, on security matters relating to the Waiouru Defence Area;
* Liaise regularly with the Command/ leadership Team ensuring they are kept fully informed;
* Conducting risk assessments and providing solutions in a timely manner;
