Amazon's Device Software & Services organization (DS2) is the platform layer beneath every Kindle, Echo, Fire TV, and Fire Tablet sold worldwide. We own the foundational services powering device identity, registration, telemetry, and lifecycle management for hundreds of millions of devices. The landscape is shifting fast: AI is redefining how customers interact with devices and user identity. Security architectures are evolving to meet new threats and multi-account models. DS2 needs to define the next generation of platform services that meet the changing needs of our business and customers across Amazon's entire device portfolio.
