Avalere’s policy practice is seeking a Principal focused primarily on Medicare, Medicaid, and drug pricing policy. The role involves generating creative solutions to complex problems, thriving in a fast‑paced environment, and collaborating with highly motivated, knowledgeable colleagues.

What you’ll do

• Serve as a key subject matter expert on Medicare, Medicaid, and drug pricing policy issues impacting the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, health insurance, pharmacy, and PBM industries.
• Generate both strategic and tactical recommendations for clients that are responsive to their policy and business needs.
• Oversee multiple complex engagements from proposal development through delivery, partnering with clients on project scope and assembling cross‑functional teams.
• Meaningfully contribute to practice goal achievement around sales, revenue, and project management.
