Principal Geotechnical Engineer

This key role will be based in Napier, Taupō, or Gisborne. It provides technical direction, strengthens client relationships, and helps grow the geotechnical capability across the region.

You will

• Lead and deliver complex geotechnical projects from investigation through to design and construction observation.
• Provide expert technical advice across areas such as:
  • Roads and infrastructure
  • Landslides and slope stability
  • River scour
  • Residential and commercial foundations
• Conduct and oversee site investigations, analysis, reporting and design.
• Undertake peer reviews and ensure compliance with NZ standards and industry best practice.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth.
• Lead or contribute to proposals, bids and work programmes.
