Shape the future of our cities and environments as a Principal Design Manager– Rivers & Coastal at AtkinsRéalis’s Design & Advanced Technology practice. Based in Epsom, Peterborough or Cambridge, you will deliver transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, working on landmark engineering projects domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate or manage a team of engineers and scientists for the delivery of technical design work on complex multi‑disciplinary projects, following national and project‑specific design codes and standards.
• Produce and review technical deliverables such as design reports, drawings, calculations and scopes of work.
• Provide technical input into project design deliverables for coastal infrastructure, river engineering and flood defence, working with the project management team to manage time and budgets to key milestones.
