Principal CAD Engineer

Job Description

+ Own and evolve a defined portion of the Digital RTL‑to‑GDSII CAD/EDA solution, including methodology, automation, and deployment.
+ Provide hands‑on enablement and execution support for internal HPC design teams to ensure effective adoption of approved EDA flows.
+ Apply strong understanding of HPC‑class digital implementation methodologies to support large, complex SoC designs.
+ Develop, debug, and maintain RTL‑to‑GDSII flows using industry‑leading EDA tools (Synopsys/Cadence).
+ Build and maintain flow automation using Tcl, Python, and Perl, applying disciplined software engineering practices.
+ Evaluate EDA tools and flow enhancements to improve design efficiency, robustness, and turnaround time.
+ Support EDA infrastructure operations, including license servers, efficient license use, and compute‑farm execution.
