Job Description Purpose of the Principal Agent Role

The Principal Agent (PA) acts on behalf of the Employer in the administration of the building contract and serves as the central point of coordination between the Employer, Contractor, and Professional Team. The Principal Agent is responsible for ensuring that the project is administered in accordance with the contract conditions while facilitating the achievement of project objectives relating to time, cost, quality, risk, and compliance.

Responsibilities Contract Administration and Governance Administer the building contract from commencement through to final completion and close‑out.
