Principal Engineer – Acoustics

The Acoustics team is looking for experienced Principal‑level acoustic experts based in Auckland or Wellington. You will lead projects across Property & Buildings, Transport & Infrastructure, and Environment sectors, grow our technical acoustic offering, and oversee client care for building and environmental acoustic projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical experience in acoustic engineering.
• Professional experience in engineering consultancy.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant technical standards, legislation and codes of practice within New Zealand.
• Client‑focused with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service, securing work and maintaining client relationships.
• Collaborative and relationship‑oriented.
• Membership with the Acoustical Society of New Zealand.
