Position Overview
Roles and responsibilities - Operate a prime mover to transport containers (laden and empty) across Singapore or within PSA terminal boundaries.
- Deliver cargoes and containers within scheduled time frames.
- Handle and maintain accurate records of Delivery Orders, Port Net receipts and Interchange receipts.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
- Perform inspection for visible damage to containers and ensure that containers are seals and securely intact before moving.
- Report any vehicle, cargo or container damages promptly.
- Adhere to workplace safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements - Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 or 5 driving license.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in heavy vehicle driving (experience with container trailers is highly preferred)
- Familiar with PSA/Jurong Port procedures and Singapore roads.
