Primary Teacher (Year 2)

Location: Cornerstone Christian School, Manawatu/Whanganui. Part‑time, fixed‑term (0.6 FTTE). Start date: 03/08/2026. End date: 09/12/2026.

We are seeking a fully registered New Zealand Teaching Council teacher for a Year 2 class. The role suits a teacher who enjoys close‑knit teamwork, values strong relationships, and supports the school’s Special Character.

Responsibilities and expectations:

• Work collaboratively within the teaching team.
• Build respectful, positive relationships with students, staff, whānau, and community.
• Demonstrate strong curriculum delivery skills and assessment knowledge relevant to Year 2.
• Uphold the special character of the school and take part in religious instruction appropriate to that character.

Qualifications:

• Full registration with the New Zealand Teaching Council.
• Experience teaching Years 1 to 8 (preferred).
