API 510 or ASME Section VIII and CSWIP 3.1 certified or have comprehensive knowledge and experience of 10 years in pressure vessel inspection at refineries or petrochemical plants.
Capable of performing internal and external inspection of pressure vessels during shutdown and turnaround phases.
Knows the difference between various forms of corrosion and degradation mechanisms applicable to refinery vessels.
Shall administer Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT) and witness NDE activities.
Shall witness hydrostatic and pneumatic testing of pressure vessels and interpret results.
Shall measure wall thickness using UT meters and perform pit depth measurement and defect area sizing.
