Duffy's Prep Cook
Reports to: Chef
Job Summary: Responsible for the preparation of ingredients and stations used in the cooking process, as well as maintaining the kitchen and ensuring it is clean and sanitized.
Major areas of responsibility:
- Cut or slice meat, poultry, and seafood to prepare for cooking.
- Wash, peel, and cut various foods, such as fruits and vegetables, to prepare for cooking or serving.
- Weigh, portion, and wrap food.
- Adhere to prep list assigned by Chef.
- Rotate food and print the time and date label for food in coolers.
- Clean and sanitize food preparation equipment, work areas, and counters or tables.
- Perform general cleaning activities in kitchen.
- Restock kitchen supplies.
- Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
