Position Title: PreK Instructional Assistant

Salary Range: $11.44 - $21.00

Contract Length: School Year

Immediate Supervisor: Certified Teacher, Director of Early Childhood, Principal



BASIC FUNCTIONS :


+ Monitor students during arrival, recess and dismissal times

+ Assist in classroom instruction under the general education guidelines under the direct supervision of a certified teacher

+ Assist students in following classroom schedule

+ Maintain confidentiality of student information

+ Follow all employee practices listed in the Paraprofessional Employee Agreement

+ Work in close physical proximity of the classroom teacher

+ Follow the teacher’s plan and help evaluate the achievement of students with whom the instructional assistant works
