Position Overview
Pre-opening opportunity as Executive Chef for a high-end Mediterranean concept, strongly influenced by Spanish cuisine to be opening in Karachi Pakistan.
This a 6-month contract responsible for developing the culinary identity of the restaurant, building the kitchen brigade, and delivering a world-class dining experience from concept through to successful opening.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all culinary aspects of the pre-opening phase
- Design and develop innovative Mediterranean menus with strong Spanish influences
- Create signature dishes that balance authenticity, creativity and commercial success
- Establish kitchen operating procedures, recipes, standards and systems
- Recruit, train and mentor the opening culinary team
- Manage supplier sourcing, product selection and procurement processes
