Position Overview
Join the University of Saskatchewan as a Prairie Grasslands Stewardship Specialist, dedicated to enhancing conservation practices through Indigenous collaboration. This role is instrumental in supporting community-driven stewardship methods within the Prairie biome.
Reporting to the Manager of Indigenous Grasslands Stewardship, the Specialist will work directly with various stakeholders, including First Nations communities, youth, and practitioners. Your expertise in grasslands ecology and Indigenous practices will be critical for creating meaningful conservation programs. Building strong relationships and facilitating workshops will be key components of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement grasslands workshops for local communities
• Co-develop educational content integrating cultural perspectives
