The role:
The Prison Healthcare Service provides a full range of Health Care to meet the needs of patients within the prison population. Care provided is both clinically effective and cost efficient providing a variety of interventions to meet prisoner healthcare needs. This service works with SPS other services and agencies within the establishment to improve the physical and mental health and wellbeing of prisoners.
