The Li-air battery represents a step-change in battery technology, with a theoretical energy up to ten times that of current lithium-ion cells. This role is part of an exciting project that brings together scientists and engineers to tackle the key challenges preventing commercialisation. As part of this collaborative project, you will carry out world-leading research on the synthesis and degradation routes of organic molecules in the lithium-air battery. The position will involve lab work in our recently furbished state-of-the-art laboratories, collaborating with other groups, presenting to key stakeholders and preparing manuscripts for publication. This full-time post, working 37.5 hours per week, is available on a fixed-term basis until 31 January 2028. About the Project
