# About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: **Essential criteria** 1. PhD in Social Sciences with a focus on Political Science, Economics, and/or Political Economy (completed or near completion, i.e. viva completed and undergoing minor revisions).
2. Demonstrated capacity for producing excellent published research in leading academic journals and presses.
3. Solid expertise in research methods, including experience with coding and data management in common statistical programme languages (e.g. STATA, R, and/or Python). **Desirable criteria** 1. A good grasp of relevant academic literature on economic inequalities and/or democratic support.
2. Experience with survey research, including surveys and survey experiments.
3. Ability to operate in small, highly collaborative teams, including regular coordination and communication with partners across multiple European countries. **Downloading a copy of ou...
