**Job Description**
**_Roles & Responsibilities:_**
The candidate will participate in research centered around the modeling of myeloid malignancies with human pluripotent stem cells (induced pluripotent stem cells and embryonic stem cells). Responsibilities will include performing experiments involving the culture, hematopoietic differentiation and genetic modification of human pluripotent stem cells, molecular analyses, and transplantation experiments in mice. Responsibilities will also include data analysis and presentation in lab meetings and institutional work-in-progress seminars.
The candidate will also participate in research related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, the candidate will participate in a study involving the generation of new models of COVID-19 using reprogramming technology to derive induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) from patients with COVID-19 with the goal to understand the genetics of predisposition to severe or fatal COVID...
