**Job Description**

**_Roles & Responsibilities:_**

The Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Institute (BMEII) at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a **Postdoctoral Fellow** to develop an autonomous low-field MRI of the brain (building on the work in https://doi.org/10.1016/j.mri.2020.08.010 ) at 50mT by implementing intelligent image acquisition, reconstruction, and biomarker detection methods. The project will deploy these methods to image underserved communities in the United States and beyond, especially in communities that lack local MR expertise. This is an excellent opportunity to conduct innovative imaging research as a member of a team of technical and clinical experts with access to state-of-the-art imaging equipment housed in the Hess Center for Science and Medicine.
