The Faith Laboratory is seeking postdocs to lead projects aimed at understanding the interactions between gut microbes and fistulizing Crohn’s disease. The position will involve the analysis of gut microbiome samples collected from Crohn’s disease patients, studying their interactions with host epithelial cells, and exploring their impact on the immune system to investigate pathogenic tunnel formation. The results from these experiments will then be used to design novel therapeutic strategies for fistulizing Crohn’s disease patients.
