Details of Research Project: The DeVita Lab of the Drug Discovery Institute and Dept of Pharmacological Sciences pursues novel drug targets in collaboration with clinicians and PI labs at Mt Sinai as a collaborative approach for translational science to develop new therapeutics for unmet medical needs. Active projects include projects directed to treat diabetes, IBD/Crohn’s disease, cancer and rare genetic diseases.
