Position Overview
Postdoctoral Fellow positions are available in the department of Experimental Radiation Oncology. The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunities to work on various projects studying the roles of ferroptosis, disulfidptosis, and cuproptosis (three forms of cell death induced by lipid peroxidation, disulfide stress, and copper overloading, respectively) in tumor suppression and cancer therapy.
The lab currently studies metabolic cell death pathways, including ferroptosis, disulfidptosis, and cuproptosis in cancer [see representative publications Nature 2021; Cancer Cell 2024; Cancer Cell 2025; Cancer Discovery 2024; Nature Cell Biology 2016, 2018, 2020 (X 2), 2023; Nature Reviews Cancer 2022; 2025; Molecular Cell, 2024; Cell, 2026 in press; see link below for complete publication list: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/myncbi/browse/collection/47340098/sort=date&direction=descending]. The lab is well funded to support various projects related to the research topics described above...
