*AVAILABLE POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN STEM CELLS AND NEUROGENOMICS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND, SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, INSTITUTE FOR GENOME SCIENCES* Dr. Seth Amentβs lab at the Institute for Genome Sciences (IGS) of the University of Maryland School of Medicine seeks to hire an outstanding postdoctoral fellow. The Ament lab studies the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying brain disorders using human genetics, single-cell and spatial genomics, human pluripotent stem cells, and computational biology. Ongoing NIH-funded studies apply these approaches to psychiatric disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, substance use disorders, brain injury, and neurodegeneration. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in molecular biology, neuroscience, bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
