Postdoctoral candidate to apply for a Marie Skłodowska Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF) in the field of Chemistry/Material Science.
This position is for a potential MSCA-PF researcher with demonstrated experience in synthesis of organic materials for photocatalysis. The first task will be to design and develop a reproducible and controllable protocol for the preparation of porous organic frameworks containing photoactive fragments. Next, the researcher will carry out systematic structural characterization of the materials and photocatalytic essays towards degradation of water pollutants such as pharmaceuticals, heavy metals or microplastics. The objective is to establish the structure-activity relationships of molecular engineered organic materials that allow the fine-tuning of the material’s chemical structure towards specific photocatalytic processes.
