Job Description The quark matter research center at the Institute of Modern Physics (IMP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) invites applications for postdoctoral research associates to work on STAR and/or CEE experiments. The successful candidates are expected to participate in analysis of data collected in the STAR Beam Energy Scan II program. We encourage a wide range of analysis with emphasis on the search for signal of the first-order phase transition and the possible critical point in the QCD phase diagram. The successful candidates may also contribute to simulation and detector calibration work for the CEE experiment under construction now, which will be the first large heavy ion experiment working at GeV energy region in China.
