Empa’s Centre for X‑ray Analytics develops X‑ray analytical and imaging methods for understanding material structure in material, life, and medical sciences.

The PostDoc research will be part of a multi‑center research project on applying and combining multi‑modal 2D and 3D imaging methods for understanding metastasis and tumor deposit formation in colorectal tumours. The work focuses on optimizing 3D X‑ray virtual histology methods by phase‑contrast micro‑CT and corresponding image processing techniques, with a view to combining it with other 2D and 3D techniques such as H&E and LSFM.
