Position Overview
Applications are invited for an individual to be appointed as a postdoctoral associate in NYU Structural DNA Nanotechnology Laboratory under the supervision of Professor James Canary. The research will focus on the design, assembly, and high-throughput characterization of multi-strand DNA assemblies (including large-scale multi-component crystals, tiles, brick and origami systems). This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of DNA structural engineering, synthetic biology, and material science. The postdoctoral researcher will directly interface with existing projects in nanoelectronics, topology and DNA-templated catalysis. Experience with DNA nanotechnology is preferred.
The employment terms, which are for one year with a possible renewal, include a competitive salary and other benefits. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and candidates will be considered until the position is filled. This position is based in New York and the selected ...
