Position Summary/Description:
We are seeking a full-time postdoctoral research associate as part of the Communicating for Health Impact ( CHI ) lab, in support of the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and Hussman School of Journalism and Media.

The lab is led by Dr. Seth M. Noar and has ongoing health communication projects with multiple funders that include the National Institutes of Health ( NIH ) and Food and Drug Administration ( FDA ). Our research projects focus on understanding effective communication practices for behavior change and involve developing and testing tobacco prevention messages targeted to youth.

The postdoctoral fellow will support a project within UNC’s NIH / FDA -funded Tobacco Center for Regulatory Science ( TCORS ), focused on understanding effective video advertisements for e-cigarette and vaping prevention among youth and young adults.
