Role Overview

Portfolio Specialist - Lending – Nottingham. Permanent, full‑time, 35 hours. Location: Head Office, Nottingham (Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week). Salary: £40,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for Lending customers, supporting the development of in‑life management strategies and controls.
• Conduct loan facility reviews, assess contract variations, manage revaluations, oversee watchlist accounts, and support recovery cases.
• Maintain portfolio quality through strong credit risk assessment and effective use of mandate.
• Mentor colleagues, promoting a culture of expertise and continuous development.
• Apply sound judgement to identify risks, prioritise effectively, and recommend mitigations.
