Position Overview

Portage, Quality and Inclusion Practitioner
An exciting opportunity has become available to work within Best Start in Life Portage Quality and Inclusion Practitioners team within the Family Hubs. The position is for 2 FTE (37 hours) per week working Monday to Friday. One will be based in the North locality and one in the South locality.

About you

1. Support Early Years Settings (nurseries, preschools)
Help staff deliver high-quality inclusive practice

Advise on adapting activities for children with additional needs

Model strategies and interventions (e.g. communication tools, visual supports)
2. Work Directly with Children & Families
Carry out holistic assessments of children and family needs

Monitor children’s progress and plan next steps

Liaise closely with parents, carers, and professionals
