Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the polymer processing chain.
• Develop and optimize conductive polymer compounds using PP/PET and carbon nanotube or carbon black fillers on a twin-screw extruder.
• Extrude approximately 250um monofilaments with precisely controlled electrical resistance.
• Characterize materials utilizing rheology, TGA, DSC, tensile testing, and resistivity testing methods.

Qualifications

• The candidate has held the job title Polymer Process Engineer or its equivalent, with 3 to 6 years of experience.
