Job Details Grade: 6C Hourly Rate: £16.92 - £18.27 Salary: £6,096.90 - £6,583.33 pro rata per annum Contract Duration: Permanent Hours: 8 Role Purpose The Playworker will, under the direction of the Senior Playworker, the Central Early Years Team and Head Teacher, work as part of a wider team, to assist with the planning and delivery of out of school hours childcare . The playworker s core function is to create an environment which will stimulate children s play and maximise their opportunities for a wide range of play experiences. A skilled and experienced playworker is capable of enriching the child s play experience both in terms of the design and resources of the physical environment and in terms of the attitudes and culture fostered within the play setting.
