Morson is on the lookout for time served Platers to join an exciting long-term project on behalf of our client in Barrow – with 12-month contracts and strong potential to extend.
 
What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for people who know their craft and take pride in their work:

Marking-off skills (datums & centrelines)
Assembly, fairing & alignment of major components
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience cutting steel (band saws, plasma, etc.)
Installation & alignment of key components (e.g. hull penetrations, seating, casings)

Pay & Shifts

3 on / 4 off days 

Locals: £24.12 PAYE | Non-locals: £32.12 PAYE
Nights

Locals: £26.73 PAYE | Non-locals: £34.73 PAYE
Umbrella rates available

Minimum 37 hours per week
Overtime available (not guaranteed)
33 days holiday incl. bank holidays
