About the job Plastic (HDPE) Fabricator

JOB OBJECTIVE:

Perform duties and responsibilities as Plastic (HDPE) Fabricator as assigned by the Lead PlasticFabricator.

DESCRIPTION

• Execute tasks according to the daily production schedule provided by the Lead or Supervisor.
• Develop layouts and plan sequences of operations, utilizing knowledge of trigonometry, stock allowances for thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and the physical properties of materials.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including Jigsaw, micro extruder and reciprocating saw.
• Position, align, fit, and weld parts together with precision.
• Verify that workpieces conform to specifications using measuring tools such as squares, rulers, and measuring tapes.
• Proficient in butt fusion and electro fusion welding techniques. Experience in onsite HDPE Welding.
