A growing FMCG manufacturing business has created a new role for a Planning Team Leader to take ownership of production planning, materials control and stock management across a fast-paced manufacturing operation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, improving processes and bringing structure to a busy environment. The business is looking for someone with a strong character who can challenge the status quo, introduce better ways of working and help drive operational performance across the site.

The Role:

Managing day-to-day production planning and materials control activities
Creating and communicating daily production schedules
Raising production orders and supporting factory operations across a 7-day operation
Managing raw material and packaging stock levels to support customer demand
Placing purchase orders and supplier call-offs
Supporting stock reconciliation, stock counts and inventory accuracy
