**Role summary**

Based in Lisburn, UK, the Planner/Buyer will work within the Materials Department. As a Planner/Buyer you will be responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling and purchasing a portfolio of parts from a group of vendors in accordance with established procedures to ensure consistency of supply whilst managing inventory levels.

**Essential responsibilities**

+ Perform and manage the procurement of both direct and indirect material for the support of a manufacturing plant via the SAP ERP system
+ Procure and/or schedule an inbound supply chain to align with SAP requirements while supporting plant inventory targets. Adheres to corporate policies and guidelines for the procurement and control of direct and indirect material
