**Job Title: Pipe Layer – Civil Construction**

**Job Description**

This role focuses on the installation of storm, water, and sewage piping systems on civil construction projects throughout the Richmond, VA area. The pipe layer works as part of a field crew to perform excavation, pipe installation, and pipe fitting while using construction tools and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

**Responsibilities**

+ Install storm, water, and sewage pipe according to project plans, specifications, and grade requirements.
+ Assist with excavation activities to prepare trenches and work areas for pipe installation.
+ Set up and accurately use laser equipment to establish line and grade for pipe installation.
+ Perform pipe laying and pipe fitting tasks, including positioning, aligning, and joining pipe sections.
