Position Overview

 
  Description 
 
  We are recruiting an experienced Pig Stockperson for a farm in North Yorkshire (DL11). 
 The job is an excellent opportunity to work on a large indoor unit concentrating on all aspects of pig production, including grow on gilts, dry sows and farrowing.
  Person specifications: 
 Ideally, 2+ years of experience in commercial pigs
 Highest welfare and care standards
 Motivation for good results
 Committed and enthusiastic about the pig industry
 A team player
 Must have a driving license and a car
 Able to work every 3rd weekend
 Able to work approx. 50 hours per week
 
  Salary: From £35,000 doe + 4-bed family house.
