PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Responsible for the deployment, support and configuration of the PACS across CCHC. Works closely with other system departmental personnel, managers and supervisors to ensure the digital image data transfer into the PACS, RIS validation and exceptions handling.

The position requires a strong understanding of PACS systems and technology, including vendor neutral archiving, mammography imaging and reporting, enterprise networking technology, and end user device configuration and management for PACS workstations. The position also requires a working understanding of Radiology, Cardiology, Pathology, and other clinical applications with imaging components, and their associated operational workflows.
