Summary Northport VA Medical Center is seeking a part-time Board Certified Physician (Dermatologist). This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing direct hands-on patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings using evidence-based medicine. Assessing patients for acute illnesses. Managing chronic and acute dermatologic diseases, including but not limited to prescribing appropriate medications. Evaluating and treating inpatient and outpatient consults. Supervising and teaching dermatology residents in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. Overseeing mid-level practitioners, such as nurse practitioners, to ensure that the highest quality of dermatologic care is available to veterans.
